The U9 Whites got their season underway on Saturday Sept 7th with an away game against Gilberdyke Phoenix Red.

The first one hour game  we’ve played. Very proud of the lads out there for the first time together, we played very well, some great goals scored by Roan, Finlay, Joshua and Jacob. Some brilliant travelling with the ball and passing on to get into a positions. It’s early days but we’re in a good place and results will come as they play more and train more together.

Very good defensive work by the lads who were at the back. 

Some debuts today for Jonathan, Finlay and Patrick. Well done boys!

Player of the match was Finlay for an all action display in midfield, getting back to help the defence and capped off with a great goal following great work by Roan.
